BODYBAR Franchising, A fast-growing franchise fitness concept based out of Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a charismatic and experienced Real Estate & Construction Services Manager. The Real Estate & Construction Manager oversees the site selection and construction of BODYBAR Pilates studios throughout the BODYBAR system. This is a full-time exempt position that will be responsible for working closely with contractors and franchisees to assist in the opening of our Pilates studios with the utmost efficiency. The ideal employee must have an in-depth knowledge of commercial retail real estate, the build out of these spaces across multiple jurisdictions, and be able to utilize the resources available to meet deadlines while being flexible to changes. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will be an integral part of the leadership team with a core focus on contractor & franchisee relations, negotiations, construction management, brand compliance, and research & planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the franchisee onboarding process

Work directly with new franchise owners on site selection and construction

Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors

Consistently evaluate real estate and construction partners to identify efficiencies and cost savings for franchisees

Monitor the progress of new studio construction and assist in the management of delays

Track and report leasing and construction updates to relevant team members

Provide insights and consulting to Franchise Partners

Manage expectations of external and internal customers

Travel throughout the continental US to assist franchisees as needed

Develop other strategies for expediting the site selection and build out process to align our growth strategy

Develop best practices for scaling growth efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Project Management or related field

Minimum of 5 years experience in lease negotiations and retail site selection

Minimum of 5 year experience overseeing the construction phase of projects

Experience working in a franchise organization strongly preferred

Strong problem solving & project management skills

Strong oral & written communication and presentation skills

Fluent in the use of various technologies

Ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify trends/patterns

Solid knowledge of retail real estate industry regulations and practices

Ability to forecast various phases of lease signing and construction progress

Must be a team player with the ability to work independently
