BODYROK offers high-intensity, low-impact workouts that tone, refine, and sculpt your body and mind in just 45 minutes. Our instructors have earned a reputation for delivering some of the most challenging and comprehensive workouts in California, and we're excited to bring the BODYROK concept to Houston.
We combine our proprietary Hybrid Pilates method, taught on custom-built reformers, to deliver one of the most efficient full-body workouts available. Our trainers coach on a microphone to heart-pumping music in high-energy studios. The BODYROK method is built to be high-intensity and low-impact, leaving clients energized and feeling great.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking individual who is passionate about health, fitness, and the BODYROK brand — and who can effectively build and grow our instructor team as we expand.
Studio Locations: West U, Tanglewood, Lantern Lane, and The Heights (coming soon!)
Work Hours & Availability
Minimum 40 hours/week across at least five days.
Schedule must flex as needed to ensure studios operate safely, professionally, and profitably at all times.
Teaches classes as needed.
As the primary local representative of the business, must be reachable by phone, text, and email at all times in case of emergency.
If unavailable at any time (e.g., a family trip), must arrange on-call coverage with your Direct Report so someone is always reachable for emergencies.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
Drive utilization goals across all studios
Build and grow the instructor team as the brand expands
Recruit, interview, and hire instructors
Train, coach, and conduct instructor performance reviews
Manage instructor scheduling and documentation/write-ups as needed
Instruct classes and continuing education
Implement studio events and theme classes
Lead program implementation and strategy
Report on equipment maintenance across all studios
Report studio standards (cleanliness, operations, professionalism) to management
Create a monthly newsletter
Monitor Houston instructor milestones and pay raises
Support staff appreciation and birthday recognition
Attend weekly team calls
Qualifications
2+ years of management experience preferred
Basic understanding of anatomy and biomechanics
Flexible teaching schedule; able to teach at least 2 days/week
CPR certification and liability insurance (special rates available upon training completion)
1+ year of instructing experience preferred in Pilates, circuit training, indoor cycling, bootcamp, HIIT, boxing/kickboxing, or group fitness
Physical Requirements
Able to demonstrate BODYROK method exercises and routines to clients
Able to assist clients during exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness
Able to modify exercises based on client fitness levels
Able to teach effectively and safely during all classes
