GENERAL SUMMARY
The Inventory Stocker will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED BY THE STORE MANAGEMENT:
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware
Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
Possess knowledge of the store layout and locations of the store's products.
Forward any customer complaint that cannot be satisfied to a member of management.
STORE OPERATIONS:
Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment
Assist with receiving / stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
Assist with maintaining back stock levels.
Assist with maintaining full inventory levels in the store by communicating inventory needs to the management.
EDUCATION / TRAINING
High School or GED Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Former retail experience preferred but nor required. We will train the right person.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing, walking, climbing and lifting ( up to 50lbs. )
