POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Residential Solar Consultant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle company provided appointments with utmost professionalism
• Create financial proposals in proprietary pricing tool
• Clearly explain value propositions during-in-home sales appointments
• Participate in business development and community outreach campaigns
• Generate own appointments, particularly through referrals 
• Use SalesForce to log sales activity and maintain contact with sales pipeline
• Maintain customer service relationship with existing clients
• Interact with customer, communicate project scope and set reasonable expectations

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful track record of in-home sales. Preferably in solar, but will train the right candidate
• Proven experience explaining intricate concepts to potential buyers
• Good customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• 3-5 years of a proven sales track record
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Salesforce experience is a plus
• Community outreach and networking experience is a plus
