    PRIMARY FUNCTION:

    Greets members by name and check members into the Club on a daily basis, making sure they are logged in appropriately. This position also assures that all members and guests adhere to registration procedures on a daily basis; oversees the replacement of lost Club cards and invoicing of membership dues and/or activity fees; will answer phones, take messages, provide callers with information, and track membership program participation, maintain files and provide administrative support.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answer phones and manage phone system
    • Greet visitors, answer questions, and disseminate information
    • Prepare and generate reports as needed
    • Keep office supplies organized and in supply
    • Keep Front Desk clean, inviting, and organized
    • Maintain records of deposit and member accounts
    • Collect monies from members for fees and activities
    • Reconcile money and prepare deposits
    • Follow cash handling procedures
    • Maintain member files (electronic and paper)
    • Coordinate new/seasonal program enrollments
    • Insure accurate tracking of member attendance and non-member activities
    • Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
    • Report to work on time and fully prepared.
    • Complete honest and accurate time sheets by established deadlines.

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • May participate in special programs and/or events.
    • May be required to document member concerns/incidents/injuries
    • May be required to meet and/or communicate directly with school and/or teachers regarding member needs/Club announcements.
    • Maintain high standard of customer service in dealing with members, parents, volunteers, other staff members and the general public.
    • Assume other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
    • Experience with computers and basic office equipment required.
    • Some experience in working with children, preferably school-aged children.
    • Basic knowledge of youth development.
    • Demonstrated customer service skills.
    • CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Valid Missouri State Drivers License, if operating Club vehicles.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to squat or bend to communicate at youths’ level.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds for short periods of time.
    • Must be able to participate in physical activities throughout the facility, on the property and/or on field trips.
