    Job Description

    The Digital Advertising Lead is responsible for creating original, compelling ads for marketing communications, campaigns, social media, paid search, and experiences to engage current and prospective clients.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Overseeing the design and content of an advertising campaign to ensure it meets and resonates with the targeted buyer persona.
    • Collaborating with clients or leadership to determine the goals of advertising projects and strategizing plans to meet those goals.
    • Running campaigns to introduce prospective customers to new product releases and build brand awareness.
    • Constantly managing and overseeing advertising campaigns to ensure they are engaging customers and bringing results.
    • Creating and monitoring KPIs to ensure the results from each campaign was successful and to better optimize and improve future campaigns.
    • Leading brainstorming sessions with team members to cultivate ideas for advertising campaign concepts, including content and design elements.
    • Writing content and creating design for social media channels, press releases, and advertisements.
    • Maintain the BQE voice, tone, and style throughout all collateral applicable to the target audience.

    Additional Job Responsibilities:

    • Critically self-edit, thoughtfully incorporate copyedits from reviewers and stakeholders, and accept feedback while always keeping project goals in mind.
    • Communicate closely with all Marketing team members to strategize, support, and execute projects and campaigns that contribute to the success of company objectives.
    • Provide content support to other marketing initiatives (i.e. webinars, speaking proposals and conferences presentations, RFPs, etc.).
    • Learn and successfully use Marketing team tools for collaboration and project management.
    • Create content for BQE blog and social media.
    • Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search result.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or similar degree
    • Three or more years of experience in digital advertising and social media or similar role
    • Experience with HubSpot is a plus

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
    • Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
    • Passion for writing in both creative and professional form.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
    • High energy level.
    • Comfortable in learning new technology.
    • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
    • Ability to write compelling copy and communicate clearly.
    • Ability to clearly, concisely communicate a message through visual and written platforms.
    • Extremely strong writing and editing skills.
    • Ability to clearly and professionally explain and interpret edits.
    • Strong technology skills and enthusiasm for exploring new tools and solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability as a detail-oriented, highly motivated self-starter; ability to work in a team or independently in support of business objectives.
    • Proven ability to write about technical or complex material in clear, concise, and engaging language.
    • Very strong interpersonal skills; a team player with a positive attitude.
