POSITION OVERVIEW : We’re seeking a friendly, hard-working Cashier to join our front-of-house team! You'll be the first point of contact for guests—responsible for creating a positive experience, entering orders, processing payments, and helping manage online and delivery pickups. You’ll also help maintain cleanliness, support your teammates, and represent the Green + The Grain brand with enthusiasm and care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system

Process transactions (credit + mobile payments) and issue receipts

Assist with mobile and third-party order pickups (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)

Restock front of house items (napkins, utensils, beverages, retail extensions, etc.)

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and counter space

Communicate clearly with service team to ensure smooth order flow

Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally, with support from a manager

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS :

Previous experience as a cashier, host, or customer service role is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Positive, team-first attitude and dependable work ethic

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs if needed

Willingness to learn and take direction

Must be punctual and reliable

Knowledge of Square POS is a benefit
