POSITION OVERVIEW : We are seeking a dependable and hard working Dishwasher to join our growing team! This vital back of house role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment—ensuring the tools and equipment our team uses are consistently clean, sanitized, and ready to support service.

As a Dishwasher at Green + The Grain, you’re not just washing dishes—you’re helping power the entire operation by keeping things running smoothly, efficiently, and hygienically behind the scenes. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done and thrives in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policy and state/federal health codes

Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout your shift

Wash, rinse, and sanitize stainless bowls, utensils, and kitchen tools throughout service

Replenish clean items to the front of house and kitchen line during the lunch rush

Assist with breakdown, deep cleaning, and closing duties as assigned by management

Monitor and refill cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and supplies as needed

Help with light stocking or receiving deliveries if required

Support other team members and tasks when the dish area is caught up—teamwork is key!

Properly store all equipment and tools at the end of shift

Alert managers to any maintenance or safety concerns with equipment

QUALIFICATIONS :

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policy and state/federal health codes

Strong work ethic with a positive, can do attitude

Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently

Physically able to meet demands of the role: standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs

Ability to stay calm, efficient, and organized in a fast paced kitchen environment

Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout your shift

Wash, rinse, and sanitize stainless bowls, utensils, and kitchen tools throughout service

Replenish clean items to the front of house and kitchen line during meal rushes

Assist with breakdown, deep cleaning, and closing duties as assigned by shift leads or managers

Monitor and refill cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and supplies as needed
