Job Description
We are seeking a Chemicals/Specialty Chemicals Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing purchase order management, product and service information and resolving simple technical issues. This is much more than what is expected from a typical call center employee.
Initial training will be at Brooklyn office with possibility of remote working later.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Process customers purchase orders via SAP or equivalent.
- Liaise with other BRB international locations
- Provide information about the products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields related to Chemicals/Specialty Chemicals Industry
- Understanding of industrial processes
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Spanish language is an advantage
