Duties/Responsibilities:
Work with the Chief Equity Officer and Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Advocacy Council (IDEA) to research DEI best practices, develop possible new approaches, training, implement DEI resources, tracking the DEI calendar, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement of DEI programming and efforts. Present to leaders those improvements needed.
Support the creation and implementation of DEI strategies, creating reports on program effort, conceptualize community engagement ideas, measuring efficiencies, supporting project management, and coordination as needed.
Assist with cross functional projects between IDEA and other organizational partners
Assist DEI with internal events, including end-to-end community connections our variety of DEI focal points.
Participate on various IDEA committees to drive completion of assigned projects, providing administrative support for events, meetings (tracking notes and next steps)
Assist with supporting, developing, and growing the DEI function and Affinity groups by providing support with event coordination, logistics, and virtual support
Assist Communications team with drafting and organizing content for internal IDEA communications
Assist with new initiatives such as mentorship programs, and other new projects outline on the IDEA counsel roadmap
Partner to coordinate the planning of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Advocacy Council (IDEA) meetings – including developing meeting agenda, preparing presentations, etc.

Well - versed in Microsoft Office (i.e . , PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) , Zoom , SharePoint , etc .
Interested candidates should have or be working toward a DEI certification or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and have a strong interest in creating and developing safe, equitable and inclusive spaces. Prior experience in Human Resources, Business, Project management, Human Services or related field, is desirable but not required.
