  • Responsibilities

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsible for assisting Program Director in management of day-to-day 165 unit adult couple shelter for men and women. Responsible for clinical oversight of the facility. Supervise clinical and vocational staff. Provide coaching for staff to assist with their professional development. Conduct in-service workshops on related topics to staff, such as, conflict resolution, assessments and client engagement and safety and other topics. Conduct periodic chart reviews in preparation for audits, prepare statistical reports and responsible for overall quality assurance of clinical services delivered to clients. Responsible for conducting case conferences for both individuals and couples and facilitating clinical team meetings. Ensure compliance with oversight agencies. Outreach into community to expand network of referral services. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. On-call responsibilities. Related duties as assigned.

     

    HOURS:

    Full-time 37.5 hours per week

    On call Responsibilities

    • Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

    *Vaccination preferred but not required

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    BA required, MSW preferred. At least two years’ experience in clinical and administrative supervision required. Significant experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness. Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, conflict resolution and/or other related best practices preferred. Understanding of NYC housing opportunities and referral process preferred. Demonstrable writing, communication and group facilitation skills. Computer proficiency required. Must have the ability to work in a high stress/ high volume environment, while maintaining open communications with the other components of treatment and operational teams. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
