BREAD BAKER RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCING HIGH-QUALITY BREAD PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ARTISAN BREADS, BAGUETTES, SOURDOUGH BREADS, AND OTHER TRADITIONAL AND SPECIALTY BREADS. THIS POSITION REQUIRES KNOWLEDGE OF VARIOUS BREAD TYPES, BAKING TECHNIQUES, ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND STRICT ADHERENCE TO FOOD SAFETY STANDARDS.
SHOULD BE ABLE TO MIX, SHAPE, KNEAD AND BAKE BREAD DOUGH TO PERFECTION, USING PRECISE SCALES AND TOOLS, ENSURE HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT MEET OUR STANDARDS AND CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS, MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WORKSPACE, ADHERING TO SAFETY AND SANITATION STANDARDS, COLLABORATE WITH OTHER BAKERS AND PRODUCTION STAFF TO MEET PRODUCTION DEMANDS.
DESIRED APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A BREAD BAKER. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED. SHOULD HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE FOR THE POSITION IN A COMMERCIAL KITCHEN OR BAKERY. WILLINGNESS TO WORK EARLY MORNINGS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED BY PRODUCTION SCHEDULES, STRONG COMMUNICATION AND TEAMWORK SKILLS, UNDERSTANDING OF FOOD SAFETY PRACTICES (e.g., FOOD HANNDLER'S CERTIFICATE), ABILITY TO STAND FOR LONG PERIODS, LIFT HEAVY ITEMS (50 LBS.) AND WORK IN A FAST-PACED, OFTEN HOT ENVIRONMENT.
