What the Position is About:
- Lead and manage a team of 5-10 Territory Sales Managers, who call on single family home builders, contractors, remodelers, and distributors, and an inside sales team comprised of phone-based reps and sales support staff
- Lead the team in sales strategy and developing plans to set & achieve targets and quotas
- Build a sales process to drive better visibility into the sales cycle, more effective funnel management, and ultimately higher revenue obtainment
- Responsible for the overall sale process, from lead identification and management to purchase order to successful installation and customer retention
- Report weekly and monthly progress of the pipeline and revenue results through business reviews and presentations to management
- This position requires at least 50% travel
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- 3-5 years of sales management experience
- Building materials, general construction or architectural-design industry experience is required
- Funnel management and sales process experience is required
- Experience successfully recruiting, training and retaining personnel
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales team
