What The Position is About:
- Lead initial training for all new hires on the sales team for the company’s Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh offices, utilizing the company’s existing rigorous training system
- Assist new trainees with follow-up support and coaching including ongoing training, shadowing, and development
- Coordinate with and support the sales leadership team to ensure a successful and smooth handoff of trainees to their direct manager
- Mostly classroom training with the occasion of going in the field
- Travel between the offices to conduct in-person trainings
- Review and strengthen existing sales training materials and content, if deemed necessary
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- 2-3 years of classroom training experience within the home improvement industry
- Exterior product knowledge is required
- Strong understanding & experience with the one-call-close, in-home sales process
