Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables using broiling techniques.
Ensure food quality and presentation meet restaurant standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timing.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in training new kitchen staff on broiling techniques and kitchen operations.
Participate in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a broiling or grilling role.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Passion for food and a desire to grow within the culinary field.
