BTYcreative (BTY = Boldest Truest You) is a strategic marketing firm looking for someone who loves out-of-the-box thinking and building relationships with the brands we steward. As a Visual Storyteller, you will generate visual communications across platforms, conceptualizing, executing, and managing creative assets and messaging for multiple clients. You will be responsible for knowledge of typography, layout, print and digital production art, social media assets, websites, and project management. You’ll also design creations for digital media and traditional media. You will collaborate with the rest of the BTYcreative team on brand priorities, brand integrity, and campaign budgeting. You may need to occasionally work hours that aren’t typical, so a flexible approach is necessary. Business hours are from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ideate/design/revise compelling print and digital ad experiences
• Over-communicate with the rest of the team members to receive feedback internally first and throughout a project
• Liaison effectively with clients and support team members throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
• Maintain proficient knowledge of our products and current trends in web technologies and design practices
• Knowledgeable in design requirements for digital ad campaign design to include paid social media
• Contribute to the development of a range of creative executions for each project while meeting tight deadlines
• Offer input and great ideas in meetings and ongoing asset development
• Regularly meet with clients and discuss ongoing campaign creative and budget changes
• Communicate project requirements with team members and discuss creative options
• Provide input on social media copy and write as needed

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Competency in producing multiple formats—print, web, mobile, animation, video, etc.
• Proficient with leading design software packages (specifically Adobe Creative Suite)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Apple Office Suite products, including PowerPoint and Keynote
• Manage email marketing campaigns, including copy and template design
• Committed to seeing projects through, from inception to production
• Discipline to maintain brand integrity across all assets throughout the lifespan of the campaign
• Be a self-starter and an effective communicator, detail-oriented with great self-motivation, organization, and strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in grammar and spelling
• Ability to manage multiple open projects and deadlines while still able to ideate new concepts
• Ability to work well as part of a team and to incorporate constructive feedback
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Consistency and attention to detail, even amid competing priorities, regardless of project size
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage ongoing client relationships
