CLOUD ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

BTerrell Group, a business advisor and cloud-based accounting automation systems provider based in Dallas, seeks individuals with 3 to 5 years of business and code development experience to automate business and accounting processes using CLOUD OR LEGACY DEVELOPMENT TOOLS. RESPONSIBILITIES

Starting as an ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE DEVELOPER at BTerrell, you will apply your cloud DEVELOPMENT skills to automate accounting and business workflow in the cloud and legacy accounting products we support. You will learn our leading ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT technologies. You will assist us in requirements discovery and documentation according to your experience and the techniques we will teach you. Your experience level will accelerate beyond your peers as we will put you in contact with customers quickly.

BTerrell ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS excel in these development and support responsibilities:

ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT:

• Documenting and defining business process requirements
• Automating business processes using leading edge CLOUD AND LEGACY development tools
• Maintaining and improving the performance of existing automations
• Clearly and regularly communicating with management and technical support colleagues
• Testing and maintaining automations to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Recommending improvements to existing automations, as necessary

SUCCESSFUL ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE DEVELOPER INTERNS SHOULD DEMONSTRATE THESE SKILLS:

• Ability to work independently and effectively
• Manage multiple ongoing projects
• Familiarity or experience with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
• Strong attention to detail

​GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 to 5 years of software development experience
• Quick Learner
• Understanding of business accounting functions and concepts in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
