Position Overview
Timmons Properties is seeking a Building Concierge / Basic Cleaning & Emergency Response Attendant to provide an on-site presence for a condominium community during evening and weekend hours. The position combines resident and guest assistance, basic cleaning of common areas, building monitoring, and initial response to after-hours issues and emergencies.
This position may be structured as part-time or full-time depending on the candidate’s availability and interest. Required on-site hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Additional daytime days and hours may be added for candidates interested in more hours.

Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Required Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday | 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM (24 hours per week)
Optional Additional Hours: Additional daytime days and hours may be added if the candidate is interested
Employment Type: Full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s availability and interest

Key Responsibilities
Concierge and Front Desk Service
Provide a welcoming, professional presence at the lobby or front desk during scheduled hours
Greet and assist residents, guests, vendors, and contractors
Verify and log visitors, deliveries, and after-hours access per community policy
Receive, log, and secure packages and deliveries
Answer resident questions and direct requests to the appropriate staff or vendor
Building Monitoring and Security Awareness
Conduct routine walks of lobbies, hallways, amenity areas, garages, and grounds
Monitor cameras, access points, and common areas for unusual activity
Enforce community rules regarding amenity use, guests, noise, and quiet hours in a courteous, consistent manner
Secure doors, gates, and amenity spaces at designated times
Emergency and After-Hours Response
Serve as the initial on-site point of contact for after-hours issues such as water leaks, alarms, power outages, elevator entrapments, and lockouts
Follow established procedures and take basic containment steps only when trained and safe to do so, such as shutting off water or securing an affected area
Promptly contact 911, on-call maintenance, management, or the appropriate vendor based on the situation
Document every incident with time, location, action taken, and follow-up needed, and submit reports to management
Basic Cleaning and Common Area Upkeep
Perform basic cleaning and tidying of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and amenity rooms during the shift
Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and keep trash and recycling areas orderly
Reset amenity areas after resident use — furniture, tables, and equipment
Spot-clean spills, glass, and high-touch surfaces; police entrances for litter
Communication and Documentation
Maintain a clear shift log and pass along open items to the next shift or to management
Submit work orders for maintenance items observed during shifts
Distribute resident notices and community communications as directed
Safety and Compliance
Report safety hazards immediately
Follow all posted procedures, emergency plans, and equipment and chemical safety guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work evenings, overnight hours, and weekends consistently
Comfortable working alone and making sound judgment calls under pressure
Basic computer, smartphone, and email skills for logs, work orders, and incident reports
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year in concierge, front desk, hotel night audit, security, or customer-facing service
Experience in a condominium, apartment, or hospitality environment
Familiarity with access control systems, camera systems, and fire alarm panels
Basic building systems knowledge — water shutoffs, breaker panels, elevator phones
CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs regularly
Stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Remain alert and responsive throughout an overnight shift

Benefits
Employees regularly scheduled to work at least 32 hours per week are eligible for company benefits. The required evening schedule totals 24 hours per week; benefits would apply if added daytime hours bring the regular schedule to at least 32 hours per week.
