What we are looking for:

We are seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, issuing payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Coding and processing invoices for payment
• Reconciling vendor statements
• Issuing payments via check or electronic transfer
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures
• Resolving any discrepancies or issues with vendors
• Providing support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
