About the Role:

Palermo Ristorante Italiano in Elk Grove, CA is looking for an energetic and hardworking Busser/Dishwasher to join our team! You'll play a vital role in keeping our dining room and kitchen running smoothly, helping deliver an exceptional guest experience every shift. Responsibilities:

Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment efficiently

Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including sweeping and wiping down surfaces

Assist servers and kitchen staff with restocking supplies and running food as needed

Remove trash and maintain sanitation standards throughout the restaurant

Restock dishware, utensils, and glassware for front-of-house and back-of-house use

Adhere to all health, safety, and food sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

Previous bussing or dishwashing experience in a restaurant setting is a plus, but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
