    • Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization: Implement and manage inventory optimization at multiple levels, from vendors to distribution centers (DCs) and DCs to branches, ensuring efficient logistics and distribution.
    • ERP Mastery: Showcase extensive experience in demand planning and supply planning within an ERP framework, moving beyond traditional spreadsheet management to leverage the full capabilities of modern ERP systems.
    • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Finance, Operations, and Sales, to align inventory management strategies with overarching business objectives.
    • Operational Excellence and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and strategic innovations within inventory processes, leveraging in-depth knowledge of current industry trends and technology.
    • Educational Leadership: Equip and empower management, including the General Manager, with strategies and insights to leverage inventory management for significant business impact.

    • Professional Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in inventory management, specifically within retail and multi-site distribution contexts. Experience in both large and small organizational settings is preferred.
    • Strategic and Operational Expertise: Demonstrated ability to strategize at a high level and engage directly in the nuts and bolts of day-to-day operations. Proven capability to adapt plans to meet dynamic market conditions and organizational transitions.
    • Mentorship and Influence: Strong ability to mentor senior management, including teaching and guiding General Managers in understanding the strategic impacts of inventory management.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Hands-on Leadership: This is not merely a strategic role; candidates must be prepared to engage directly with operations, including ongoing transitions such as new catalog integrations and private label shifts expected in the coming summer.
    • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time to ensure alignment across network operations.

This position is pivotal for candidates who are strategic thinkers, relish the challenge of high-level operational management, and are passionate about implementing and guiding significant changes within a business.
