Director - Annual Giving and Digital Fundraising
BWF is looking for an individual with annual giving and digital fundraising experience, demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel fundraising campaigns, with excellent communication skills and an excitement for learning to join our Annual Giving and Digital Fundraising team. The director position will help national and international client partners develop high-performing campaigns to build their base of support. Through assessments, strategy design and implementation services, BWF's Annual Giving and Digital Fundraising team helps clients create sustainable fundraising programs to help fulfill their missions. The director position serves as a team member on client engagements and help to acquire and analyze data and produce recommendations, as well as provide broad levels of client services (including managed services). This position will work under the direction of each project engagement manager, and utilize BWF methodology to prepare client deliverables, including reports and other materials. Additionally, the director will provide managed services for clients which may include strategic project management, copywriting, and managing digital campaigns (email marketing, web content, social/digital advertising) and director may also provide interim staffing services for client partners.

Job Responsibilities
Client engagements. Serve as a project team member on client engagements, taking direction from the engagement manager and providing excellent consulting services, in partnership with clients. Engagements may include program reviews, fundraising strategy development and implementation, or other services as needed.
Marketing. Regularly write and speak to promote expertise in philanthropy through firm and industry publications, conferences, or events as requested.
Sales. Play an active role in sales activity as requested, including writing proposals and participating in sales presentations.
Ongoing professional development. Participate in ongoing internal activities as a productive and active member of the firm. These may include orientation and ongoing trainings, firm-wide client review meetings, and other skill-building activities.
Qualifications
Three to five years’ experience in annual giving or digital fundraising/marketing, with exposure to fundraising in a higher education, healthcare or other nonprofits setting.
Experience with digital marketing strategies to support fundraising campaigns, including social media, paid advertising, and web strategy.
Experience developing and executing multi-channel fundraising campaigns with advanced segmentation.
Working knowledge of digital fundraising technology including email marketing platforms, content management systems, social media management tools, social media ad platforms, and online giving systems.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Powerful analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, and a solid strategic thinking.
Ability to create a strong, positive initial impression and maintain a solid professional credibility.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Compensation and BenefitsAnnual base salary range of $75,000-$90,000 based on qualification and experience. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on transparently defined performance metrics including client satisfaction, work quality, team attainment, and firm contribution metrics. There are also additional sales bonus opportunities. Benefits package available. Location and Hours
This position can be based in our Minneapolis office or fully remote outside of Minneapolis.
Overnight travel, up to 50%, may be required depending on client and project needs.
Standard business hours apply, with weekend and evening hours required when deadlines need to be met.
