    Job Description

    The Operations Coordinator position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations which includes ensuring all data is accurate and complete, implementing processes and procedures and training staff to ensure efficiency, creating an environment of continuous operational improvement, and ensuring all safety and performance standards are met or exceeded. You will also serve as the Liaison to city and community personnel as well as at marketing events in the area.  

    As the Operations Coordinator, you will work with the Station Technicians, Bicycle Mechanics, and Field Unit Drivers to help create and implement operational strategies, refine processes, and drive innovation to make the bike share system a success. 

     

    Daily Responsibilities 

    • Manage scheduling, attendance, and daily routing for station repairs and bike maintenance 

    • Works with Operations Director to manage and maintain vehicle maintenance per our SLA requirements 

    • Order, receive, track, and manage parts inventory 

    • Identify opportunities for increasing ridership and improving users’ experiences 

    • Ensure bicycles are maintained to manufacturer recommendations 

    • Work in partnership with the Bewegen Program Manager and Director of Operations to ensure continuous operational improvement, including meeting and improving on Service Level Agreement contract requirements such as station cleanliness, bicycle maintenance, and rebalancing metrics 

    • Involved in the hiring process including interviewing and new hire training 

    • Ensure that safety-related processes are in place and that all staff follow appropriate safety procedures during field and warehouse operations 

    • Communicate effectively with city and community personnel correct data in regards to the operations of the system, as well as organizing and conducting marketing events to promote the system in the city

     

    Job Qualifications 

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent 

    • Experience: 6 months to one year of related experience/ One year in a lead or supervisor role
