Job Summary
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who is highly productive while working independently and as part of a team and provides excellent customer service and communication with clients and BxB team members. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the processing of company financial transactions. Duties include: bookkeeping, record keeping, and financial reporting of company expenses in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities
Perform accounts payable functions, such as invoice processing and vendor payments, in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate billable expenses with Accounts Receivable Specialist.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to complete month-end closing.
Build and maintain accurate accrual spreadsheets.
Process payroll.
Maintain accounting-related tables and databases in Notion.
Create and process expense reports for traveling employees.
Coordinate or assist other departments with purchasing.
Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.
Respond to internal information requests regarding client billing, vendor pricing, and other contracts.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Occasionally answer company phone and transfer calls or deliver detailed messages to appropriate people
Qualifications
Must be able to train on-site in Rochester Hills office, then work fully remote with occasional in-person meetings
Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience including accrual accounting method
Proficient in Quickbooks Online and spreadsheet software
Minimum of 1 year payroll processing experience
