Job Description

BYD is hiring a digital communications associate with a strong digital marketing background and communication skills to work with our sales and communications teams in a position that will require an ability to think outside the box to achieve measurable results.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work in collaboration with BYD’s communications and sales teams to research and create innovative digital B2B marketing strategies. You will analyze the results of those digital strategies and adjust on-the-fly as needed. You will also work closely with BYD’s dealer network. 

Recent digital marketing experience and project management skills are essential. Knowledge of graphic design is helpful.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop digital marketing strategies and campaigns
• Set KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness
• Produce digital and printed materials in collaboration with communications and sales teams
• Be proficient in the use of social media as a communications tool
• Be proficient in the use of Zoom and other video conferencing software
• Manage logistics for occasional trade shows, both virtual and in-person (about 4-6 per year, domestic travel required)
• Manage the online dealer portal to ensure the inventory is in stock and the dealers obtain their necessary marketing materials

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

• B.A. or higher education level
• 2-5 years of digital marketing experience preferred 
• Experience with digital marketing research and strategy
• Experience with brand management
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to adjust priorities on short notice
• Highly independent and motivated self-starter
