    K-12 Physical Education Teacher Position Available

    Date of Posting: July 30, 2024

    Deadline: August 16, 2024 or until filled

    Position: Full-time P.E. /Health Teacher – grades K -12 - Also, some athletic director duties -- Pay negotiable based on experience

    Qualifications: Required : Michigan teaching certificate with MX endorsement Or both MA and MB endorsements

    Desired Skills :

    Strong communication skills with students, parents and co-workers

    Strong listening and organizational skills

    Ability to make personal connection with students

    Ability to integrate technology into lessons

    Establish a positive learning environment

    Adapt instruction to meet the needs of all students

    Address various learning styles

    Conduct ongoing assessments for learning

    Monitor students’ performance as they engage in learning activities

    Provide re-teaching and/or interventions when appropriate

    Conduct parent-teacher conferences

    Follow and support school policies and procedures
