Childcare & Housekeeping - Bach Family, ADDRESS, Scarsdale NY (5) Days per week 2:30pm - 7:30PM --- (25) Total Hours per Week Must Drive, and be comfortable drive children to activities CPR certification is a plus **open to hourly rate or confirmed weekly salary for 25 hrs. Pick up 2 children (kindergarten and 2nd grade) from elementary school (walking distance from the house) at 3PM 2. Care for children until relieved by the parents. This includes: Giving children healthy snacks, Preparing dinner, Taking children to park or play dates (as directed), Supervising children or tracking their whereabouts , Supervising playdates (as directed) 3. Ensure children complete homework, school projects, or reading assignments as appropriate 4. Take the children to sports practice & hockey practice (Sept to March). This will entail ensuring equipment is packed, and kids are dressed, etc. 5. Light housekeeping and errands as directed such as laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, organizing, keeping the 1st floor clean, directing children to clean up after themselves, and Some limited miscellaneous errands may include pharmacy, dry-cleaning, and trips to the grocery store 6. Preliminary meal preparation, both for kids and adults. Opportunities for additional time (@ an agreed upon rate) 1. Coverage for half days (planned with the school calendar) Mar 12, 14, 20, 21 2. Converge for snow days (as they happen) 3. Mornings 7a-9a when one of the parents is traveling Holidays Off Include : All bank holidays (New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day ) Weeks' vacation Include (may change yearly to accommodate school schedule) (1) Week between Christmas and New Year (1) Week for summer vacation TBD yearly (5) Discretionary personal days with advance scheduling and family approval Background check and Driving records Check will be conducted prior to start date.
