Back A Yard Caribbean Grill in San Jose, CA is looking for one Catering Sales Admin to join our strong team. Our ideal candidates are Sales Professionals with a proven track record of upselling existing customers and generating referrals in catering sales.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual monthly set quotas
- Maintain current customers and support reordering
- Execute best sales practices and technique as provided by management
- Achieve up-sell goals through educating customers
- Plan event menus and schedules in accordance with customer needs
- Schedule deliveries in a timely manner
- Notify the kitchen of upcoming events
- Coordinate with staff and client to ensure the best service is met
Qualifications
- 2 years of sales experience
- Proven work experience as a caterer or a similar position
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with little supervision
- Knowledgeable of food preparation and pairings
