We are a high end liquor store in Costa Mesa, newly renovated a block out of Newport Beach. Great area, great happy customers, really great team of great employees; anyone pickup on this after a couple minutes in the store.

Sales Associate

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The right candidate will demonstrate EXCEPTIONAL SELLING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Be knowledgeable in all product categories, and assist customers with determining their needs.

Our Sales Associates are encouraged to foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring a positive emotional customer experience for all people of the community who grace our store with their business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consistently creates a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to their inquiries and needs.
• Maintain open flexible availability to accommodate store needs.
• Ensures that all customers receive good service, quality merchandise.
• Cashier all sales with customers using state of the art point of sales system.
• Demonstrates desired behaviors to drive sales. Sales Associates will maximize the sale amount per customer. Ensure no customer leaves without a serviced sale.
• Build customer loyalty through motivating and compelling communication. Inspires an environment where customers become repeat customers.
• Knowledgeable in all merchandise categories and able to make appropriate recommendations to the customers.
• Ensures all pricing, signage, and display information is correct at-all times in-store, and online.
• Ensures online customers receive prompt communication, and effective management of their orders in the timeframes necessary set by our internet retail partners.
• Develops in-store displays for local advertising.
• Assists in the maintenance of the store to ensure cleanliness and organization at-all times.
• Ensures company standards are met in-regards to associate appearance at-all times.
• Assists and third-party delivery companies when obtaining items to delivery to community customers.
• Promotes stores social media presence.
• Receives vendor deliveries, ensures deliveries are counted, replenishing floor stock, and organizes merchandise in a timely manner.
• Assists manager for controlling inventory stock levels and ordering merchandise as directed
• Maintains list of inventory recommendations by customers for store to carry.
• Assists in developing and executing plans to increase sales; drive/promote merchandise categories, and expand markets.
• Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community events; weddings, parties, etc.
• Supports in the development and execution of any sales promotions or campaigns.
• Suggests adjustments to in-store processes, campaigns, and sales promotions to meet sales goals or maximize sales.
• Opens and close daily cashier floats and tills; responsible to ensure no loss on point of sales or lotto till.
• Reports on shrink, and conducts inventory counts.
• Be reliable, be happy, and please show up to work and on time.
• Regularly communicates with Store Manager to discuss strengths, opportunities, and trends in business.
• Enforces all liquor and tobacco laws; follow all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security. Employees will need to complete a criminal record check.
• Performs any other duties as directed by supervisors.

Store Hours: 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, 9am-9pm Sunday.

Looking for part time employees. $13/per hour.
