Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing staff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining established quality control standards.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them according to clinic protocols.
- Record patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate patient care under the direction of physicians and in accordance with company policies.
- Process appropriate clinical and administrative documents in an organized and timely manner.
- Respect and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
- Organize, stock, and clean exam and treatment rooms; sterilize instruments as required.
- Comply with all clinic policies, including the Dispensary Technician Policy and HIPAA regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a Dermatology office with back office duties preferred, but not required.
- 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in any medical specialty.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care documentation.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Ability to follow all clinic policies and procedures with consistency and professionalism.
