    Our client uses machine learning and natural language processing, along with a healthy dose of secret sauce, to automate the analysis of very large datasets. Our software crunches through the data to help our customers understand the world around them -- whether it is a stock they are tracking or an emerging geopolitical event in a far-flung part of the world. Our customers include analysts at some of the world’s largest corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies.

    THE ROLE: ENGAGEMENT MANAGER - FINANCE

    The Engagement Manager - Finance will act as an account liaison to some of the largest organizations in the finance and banking sector. You will utilize a blend of analytics, data science, project management, and communication skills to prototype solutions, onboard and train customers, and maintain and grow client relationships.

    You will work with executives and leadership at customer organizations to understand their challenges and identify opportunities for Client’s suite of NLP/NLG technologies to support their needs.

    THE ORGANIZATION: SOLUTIONS ARCHITECTURE

    Our client is an artificial intelligence company that organizes and analyzes text-based data sources and generates analyst-grade natural language summaries for a variety of industries. Our objective is to help our customers understand the world around them--whether it is emerging geopolitical events, development of a product line or area of research, or the financial performance of a portfolio of companies.

    The Solutions Architecture team is a jack-of-all-trades organization that serves as the interface between the customers and the company. Our charter is: (1) scope and deploy Client’s suite of NLP/NLG solutions to our customers; (2) prototype new technologies and concepts to meet the needs of the customer; (3) maintain our current customer relationships and seek opportunities to improve customer usage and satisfaction; and (4) channel customer feedback and usage patterns back to Client to drive future product development.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan, project manage, and track client’s customer engagements through unified, intentional communications.

    • Work with Business Development to support sales and marketing activities in the finance vertical.

    • Marry your deep customer expertise with knowledge of client’s suite of products to influence product design, enhancement, and deployments.

    • Develop ways to analyze and understand customer engagement and product performance through modeling and data visualization.

    • Drive adoption through the delivery of customized onboarding materials and training. Create and maintain a self-service knowledge base.

    • Proactively solicit product feedback and work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and executives to prioritize new features.

       

      REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years of professional experience in the areas of finance or banking coupled with experience in analytics, consulting, customer success, or developing and deploying quantitative solutions for customers.

    • Proven ability to work remotely and independently.

    • High emotional intelligence and ability to think about solutions from a customer perspective. Excellent communication skills – you will be the face of the client to customers’ organizations.

    • Expert writer with a knack for translating technical content for a generalist audience.

    • Bonus points for knowledge of the software development cycle or key machine learning concepts.

    • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a quantitative field, such as economics, business, finance, computer science, engineering, statistics, computational linguistics.
