Position Overview
The Back Waiter / Server Assistant plays a vital role in delivering a seamless, elevated dining experience. This position supports the service team through precision, anticipation, and attention to detail, ensuring every table is executed with excellence. Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a passion for refined hospitality in a fine-dining environment.
Core Responsibilities
Support Servers and Captains to ensure fluid, well-paced service throughout the dining room
Assist with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and re-marking with precision
Execute food running, beverage support, and guest assistance as directed
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in all service areas
Anticipate guest and service team needs to enhance the overall dining experience
Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team to support service flow
Uphold all service standards, procedures, and presentation expectations

Qualifications
Previous experience in upscale dining or hospitality preferred, but not required
Strong multitasking ability and sense of urgency
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow direction while anticipating service needs
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and elevated service execution
