Backflip's mission is to reinvent resale by creating the easiest way to instantly liquidate your assets, starting with personal electronics. Consumers expect a one-click e-commerce buying experience, and we believe that the same simplicity should extend to disposing of those used items. We have created a marketplace that connects sellers with local professional resellers who can purchase their used products instantly, without all of the negotiations, fraud, or complexity of selling on current marketplaces.
The Role:
As a Courier, you will be responsible for picking up electronics from our customers in the Austin area and delivering them to our facility in North Austin. This is a brand new part of our business and an exciting time to come on as our first full time courier. You will collaborate with our Operations and Logistics teams to ensure flawless and reliable deliveries and have the opportunity to shape how this role functions within our organization
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our Operations and Logistics teams and utilize technology and routing tools to pick up and deliver electronic devices
Abide by Texas Department of Transportation safety regulations for a courier
Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
Meet company operating policies and standards, including providing best in class customer service
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements:
You must have your own car, be at least 21 years old, and have had your license for more than 1 year
You must have proof of registration of your vehicle and proof of insurance (with your name on the policy) on your vehicle
You must be able to drive in most weather conditions for extended periods of time (from 4 - 8 hours depending on shift length) and possess the ability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
You possess the ability to lift up to 20 pounds
You must have a Smart Phone with downloadable app capability and be familiar with technology and routing tools.
