About the Job:

At Bad Birdie, we design standout golf apparel that's comfortable as hell but never compromises on performance or good vibes. Bad Birdie is looking for a driven, and highly motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist with experience in the CPG and/or apparel industry. They will have proven success using QuickBooks Online, and working with Shopify, and will be comfortable taking initiative and reporting to the Financial Controller.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Execute customer invoice/credit memo processing and customer payment functions.
• Maintain customer files in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Actively review customer aging reports to pursue collection of cash and delinquency reduction.
• Assist Management with month-end closing procedures and reporting schedules as needed.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommendations.
• Oversee Bad Birdie's AR / AP processing.
• Credit applications for new vendors.
• Participate in other related duties with the Finance department required by the company.

Skills / Experience:

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent customer service, phone, and shared mailbox management
• Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders
• Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
• Systems experience with QuickBooks Online, Shopify, Bill.com, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
