Job Description
Bad Features is searching for a React Native developer who likes to work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be joining a small development team to build out various React Native mobile applications for our clients. We’re a creative group that likes to push the bounds of what’s possible and think outside of the box.
Responsibilities
Build and enhance advanced applications with Reach Native while also incorporating native integrations with Swift and Java
Provide level of estimates for features, bug fixes, upgrades and new projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new applications and features
Participate in creating clear and concise documentation for company applications and custom built frameworks
Ship quickly and consistently
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Prompt / concise communication and feedback during code reviews
Skills & Qualifications
1+ years experience in building applications in React Native
Ability to write clear and comprehensible code and comments
Keeping up to date on the latest mobile application best practices
Knowledge of unit, function, and integration testing
Git version control
Integrating with 3rd party APIs and Services
Experience in solving complex flow and code architecture
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
Understanding of Redux or Flux
Pluses
Released or worked on an open source application
Developing native applications (Java, Swift)
Experience writing programs in Ruby, Python, or Node.js
Postgres experience
