As a Data and Machine Learning Analyst in Bainbridge projects, the Forbes-rated global consulting firm, you will serve clients ranging from technology, media, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services. You will develop breakthrough new technologies with our team of computer scientists and MBA finance and management consultants including proprietary projects for a leading corporate start-up venture. Play a pivotal role in the data sourcing, analysis, and machine learning development function, with the opportunity to pioneer and learn about a growing, dynamic system and developing the tools to reach new business levels of performance.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE  Manages the data sourcing facility and in-house engine for the Bainbridge team and facilitates effective, automated methods to gather secondary information from a variety of sources. The goal is to further build out and grow our existing, in-house data function and capability and create an effective, scalable ecosystem of data sourcing, cleaning, execution and management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Utilize automated tools to facilitate targeting, sourcing and business development capabilities for the team.
• Facilitate the machine learning initiative underway at BC Analytics.
• Develop internal technological infrastructure to improve outreach capability, accuracy, effectiveness with the goal of scaling up capabilities.
• Play a pivotal role in the data targeting and sourcing team advancing the technological capability to download and manage data, as well as effective database management.
• Analyze financial data to uncover industry, company, and customer trends.
• Act as a liaison between the data analytics and capital team.
• Assist in marketing and business development processes for both prospect clients and targets.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Completion of a 4+ year undergraduate degree in a related field of study: Computer Science/Data Science/Cognitive Science
• 2+ years of Python/Jupyter notebook experience
• 2+ years of front end and back end programming skills preferred
• 1+ years of advanced Excel
• Masters degree preferred but not required
