FULL STACK DEVELOPER INTERN/PART-TIME

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

We are looking for full-stack developers to join our growing web development team. The team is working on developing a web-based application. The individuals will use JavaScript to develop new features of the platform. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in both front-end and back-end. We are looking for students for a part-time internship.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Collaborate with lead developer building web-based application
• Communicate and report to the team on daily basis
• Ensure responsiveness of the application
• Troubleshoot and debug application
• Work on other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have graduated from or currently enrolled in a B.S. degree program in Computer Science or related field
• 0-2 years of web application development experience
• Proficient in JavaScript
• Experience in Bootstrap, React/Redux, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of Rest APIs
• Familiar with cloud platform such as Heroku and AWS
• Knowledge of code versioning control tool such as Git
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and dependently within a team environment
• Be able to work a minimum of 20 hours/week (Intern only)
