The responsibilities of a BGI Document Control Specialist are as follows but not limited to: Responsible for administering and maintaining the company's-controlled documents, records, and document control system in accordance with company requirements. This position is a key role to ensure product documentation meets defined quality standards and worldwide regulatory requirements. Administration of the document control system to include: Tracking of all routing and approval stages Ensuring new documents and records are consistent with company procedures, reviewing all documentation for accuracy, completeness and consistency in content, format, files and approvals. Managing external standards The Document Control Specialist is responsible for the coordination, management, and lifespan of documents for all internal documents and internal audits. Establish and maintain a project document filing system in accordance with established Client procedures. Respond to project demands by recording project progress with site visitations and taking photos, acting as liaison to the PM and contractors by communicating requests and demands as needed. Maintain professional relationship with contractor teams. Create Transmittal and Request forms to be used for plan room operations. Prepare reports in accordance with established Client procedures and forms. Manage all documents for all projects in the project management system running parallel to Client's document control software.
