    Job Description

     Has full responsibility for the management and leadership of assigned subcontractors on a field project.

    ASSIGNED SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT

    • Prepare draft Schedule A’s for subcontract agreements for review/approval by the Project Manager. Prepare draft owner change orders and subcontractor change orders for review/approval by the Project Manager.
    • Enter/review/approve subcontractor progress billings in Textura by the 25th of each month and compile all required backup documentation for subcontractor monthly billings.
    • Obtain all required administrative submittals from assigned subcontractors, including, but not limited to, schedules of values, IIPP’s, labor rates that comply with the prime contract, etc.
    • Track all time and materials change order costs for assigned subcontractors daily.Manage all RFI’s & submittals for assigned subcontractors in Procore.

    COMMUNITY OUTREACH & DEVELOPMENT AND SECTION 3 HIRING MANAGEMENT

    • Act as liaison for all community events and outreach.
    • Lead person for all interactions with OEWD, Mercy Section 3 hiring team, and potential Section 3 hires.
    • Ensure that OEWD Forms 1 (Local Hiring Plan) and 3 (Local Worker Request) are completed by all subcontractors and tiered subcontractors. 
    • Ensure Section 3 Form is completed by all trade workers on site.Work with project administrator to ensure that weekly Section 3 hiring reports are accurate prior to distribution.

    ADDITIONAL TASKS ASSIGNED BY PROJECT MANAGER

    • Develop agenda and minutes for weekly staff meetings in Procore.
    • Complete weekly safety inspections in Procore in accordance with corporate safety requirements.
    • Assist Project Manager with buyout of materials for self-performed work.
    • Perform consistent site walks and upload project photos to Procore from site walks. 
    • Develop punch list items during site walks in Procore.
    • Obtain and manage all required Special Traffic Permits.
    • Responsible for managing the Emissions Management Plan, including quarterly and final reporting. 
    • Ensure that all heavy equipment, with hour meter reading, is tracked weekly in EMP spreadsheet by Assistant Superintendent.
    • Complete additional tasks as assigned by Project Manager.
