SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager, compiles and maintains accounts payable process by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Completes assigned Branch Accounts Payable review and vouchering in accordance with policy. • Ensures all vendor payments are made in time to qualify for all discounts. • Attaches invoice deduction notices to checks, as necessary. • Reviews and reconciles PO-AP report for assigned Branches on a weekly basis. • Ensures PO-AP report reviewed and reconciled for all Branch Accounts Payable assigned to the Corporate. • Answers all vendor inquiries for assigned Branches and responds to vendor inquiries in a timely manner. • Prepares accounts payable checks. • Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required • Assists with special projects, as necessary. • Acts as backup for Corporate Accounts Payable Clerks. • Acts as backup for LA Branch job functions as directed. • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and otherwise posted or communicated. • Exemplify the BakeMark core values of Performance, Passion, Partnership and Initiative in all aspects of assigned duties. • Other duties as assigned by management. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) from an accredited college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS AND REASONING ABILITY: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
