Bake’n Joy has an immediate need for a fun sweets-loving and ambitious full-time warehouse associate responsible for all basic warehouse functions including order picking, wrapping/staging trailers and loading and unloading materials on the trailers. This position also requires 10% to 20% freezer environment.

Essential Job Duties and Requirements:

• Candidate will assist in processing and unloading/loading inbound purchase orders and outbound trailers.
• Candidate will set up and move all production materials and place products into the proper required locations.
• Works to maintain housekeeping standards within the warehouse including, sweeping, and emptying trash barrels.
• Understand all safety rules and procedures and follow them at all times, while consistently meeting or exceeding all set department goals.
• Ability to drive and operate the company’ box truck when needed in addition to Experience with operating equipment, including stand up reach trucks and electric pallet jacks.
• This position requires the candidate to spend 10-20% time in negative 15-degree freezer environment.
• Candidate should have bar coding experience.

About You:

We are looking for someone with a high school education or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills and two to three years of machine operator experience is preferred. Training in manufacturing practices, basic allergen handling, wash down procedures, food defense and HACCP are preferred but willing to train for the right person. Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing and able to work varying shifts and schedules. Within this position you must have the ability to stand and walk on concrete floor for prolonged periods with a frequent bending, lifting and twisting for extended periods and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work in negative 15-degree environments.
