    About Us: Baker Sign Group is a premier national wholesale sign manufacturer, known for our quality products and exceptional customer service. Located in St. Peters, Missouri, we specialize in creating custom 3D signs for sign companies across the country.

    Position Overview: We are seeking to hire a Packaging / Shipping / Maintenance team member. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging and crating completed signs along with some maintenance services. This role requires light carpentry and maintenance skills, a commitment to maintaining exceptional attendance, the ability to multitask effectively, and superior attention to detail.

    We offer a great work schedule: Mon-Thu 7:00 am to 4:30 am and Friday 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

    Essential Functions:

    Must have exceptional attention to detail and multitasking skills.

    Ability to take direction, work as a team and independently

    Read and understand work order details for packaging/shipping.

    Packaging and crating of completed signs for shipping.

    Utilizing power equipment such as saws, sanders, drills, etc.

    Maintain an awareness of safety while working.

    Exceptional time management skills to meet production schedules.

    Keep accurate records of time and materials.

    Maintain fabrication areas, including equipment, in a safe and clean operational condition.

    Perform standard maintenance schedules for assigned equipment and building areas.

    Perform other duties as required or assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

    The recipient of a high school diploma or its equivalent.

    Forklift Certified or obtain upon employment.

    Ability to read, understand, communicate, and interpret written and verbal instructions, apply manufacturer recommendations, manufacturing work instructions, and work documentation, policies and practices, etc., which are written in the English language.

    Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job (lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, standing in place) for periods of up to 8 to 10 hours.

    Basic carpentry skills and experience with power tools, with the ability to read a tape and use power tools safely.

    Background check is required.
