  • Responsibilities

    Baker 1 is a senior-level production role responsible for executing complex baking tasks, leading prep teams, and ensuring consistency and excellence in all baked goods. This role requires advanced technical skills, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of artisanal baking techniques.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead production of laminated doughs, breads, and specialty pastries.

    • Execute advanced baking techniques with precision and consistency.

    • Assist in recipe development and seasonal product innovation.

    • Mentor and train Baker 2 and Baker 3 team members.

    • Maintain prep schedules and ensure timely execution of daily production.

    • Monitor quality control and enforce kitchen standards.

    • Support inventory management and ordering processes.

    • Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols.

    Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities

    • 5+ years of professional baking experience.

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

    • Expertise in laminated doughs, fermentation, and pastry fundamentals.

    • ServSafe Certification required.

    • Culinary or baking degree preferred.
