Job Title: Bakery Maintenance Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bakery Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair bakery equipment and facilities. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations, food safety compliance, and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on bakery equipment (ovens, mixers, proofers, refrigeration, etc.)

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing issues

Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and food sanitation standards

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records

Coordinate with management and external service providers when needed

Respond promptly to maintenance issues during operating hours

Qualifications:

Previous maintenance experience (bakery, food production, or industrial setting preferred)

Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems

Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills:

Experience with commercial bakery or food-service equipment

HVAC or refrigeration knowledge

Preventive maintenance certification or technical training
