About the Role:

Culinary Clubhouse in Garden City, NY is looking for a passionate and creative Baking Teacher to inspire the next generation of bakers! This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of baking in a fun, hands-on environment where every class is a delicious adventure. If you thrive on teaching, creativity, and the smell of fresh-baked goods, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate baking lessons for students of varying skill levels

Demonstrate baking techniques including mixing, measuring, decorating, and proper use of kitchen equipment

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom kitchen environment

Guide students through recipes while encouraging creativity and confidence in the kitchen

Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Prepare ingredients, supplies, and materials ahead of each class session

Communicate student progress and class updates to parents and program coordinators

Requirements:

Experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary arts (professional or extensive hobbyist)

Prior teaching, tutoring, or instructional experience preferred

Comfortable working with children and/or mixed-age groups

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Food handler's certification or ServSafe certification a plus

Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic with a passion for culinary education

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a kitchen setting
