    SCHEDULE:

    4 on 4 off, straight days and nights.

    5:30am-6pm

    5:30pm-6am

    In this role you will be responsible for maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs and/or overhauls equipment and related plumbing, electrical, and pneumatic and hydraulic components in the facility. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager for proper direction, interpretation, and evaluation.

    • Properly operate equipment per operation guidelines to include safety procedures and guidelines. Understand equipment, processes, and monitoring of equipment operation.

    • Maintain and record accurate data on documents as necessary. Ensure all paperwork is complete (including time cards), in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure documentation complies with Company standards.

    • Keep a clean and orderly work setting by completing all cleaning tasks assigned. Complete the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) as is necessary.

    • Observe safety/security procedures, determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, and report any potential unsafe conditions.

    • Consistently be punctual to work, meetings, and training sessions.

    • Attend all company-sponsored training events (such as safety training talks and annual training sessions, targeted for continuing personal growth and development).

    • Become proficient in production and safety policies and procedures

    • Maintain a flexible attitude towards improvement and change.

    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, (such as personnel, safety, and equipment maintenance and upkeep). Become proficient in areas of production and safety policies and procedures (accident/injury reporting, blood borne pathogens, confined spaces, emergency evacuation, equipment operation/maintenance, hazard communication, ladders, lockout/tag out, personal protective equipment, etc.).

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Associates Degree or College Degree (Industrial maintenance and mechanics is HIGHLY preferred); 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or an equal combination of education or experience is preferred.

    2. Individual must be motivated, organized and exemplify excellent time management, documentation, and communication skills (both orally and written).

    3. Must pay excellent attention to detail and be able to multi-task and prioritize.

    4. Must be able to utilize common sense and skills in completing responsibilities and operating equipment conforming to company production, personnel, and safety procedures.

    5. PLC knowledge and experience is a plus!

    6. Be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, operation manuals, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting guides.

    7. Demonstration of strong work ethics (punctual, responsible, and trustworthy).

    8. Ability to write correspondence.

    9. Must be able to pass any required examinations necessary for performing essential functions of the job.

    10. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    11. Must be able handle conflict in a professional manner.

    12. Must possess the ability to give and welcome feedback and contribute to building a positive team spirit.

    13. Must have proven, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic system troubleshooting skills.

    14. Building maintenance skills such as: concrete repair, plumbing, and HVAC experience is useful.

    15. Possession of a Minnesota class 2B boilers license is required to have or be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
