Job Description

Balcones Resources offers shredding and recycling services to Central Texas businesses. The Customer Service and Transportation Associate provides customer service support to clients and assists in the management of the Transportation Department under the guidance of the Transportation Manager. A typical day involves daily routing and dispatching of service tickets, responding to all customer inquiries and requests, communicating with drivers and other office staff, and reconciling daily service tickets.

The Customer Service and Transportation Associate contributes to a customer-focused environment that encourages information sharing, team-based sales activities, and a focus on developing new business and retaining existing relationships. This position will report directly to the Transportation Manager and will work closely with the Billing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer phone and emails, promptly responding to all requests.
• Liaison with all service subcontractors.
• Create and dispatch daily routing for shred and recycling services.
• Daily review of routes with Transportation Manager and Drivers.
• Reconcile daily service activities.
• Enter and update account data into various software programs.
