Framatome is seeking a Technical Operations Supervisor for our Kincardine, Ontario location.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provides daily front-line supervision and advanced technical support for a team of technical personnel and support staff in a specific technical specialty or function.
• Scope of work typically includes planning and scheduling work, supervising workflow, and adherence to budget.
• Supervises the execution of technical processes, reviews progress and updates management, as needed.
• Provides input to, or conducts, staff appraisals.

ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.  CANDIDATES WHO EXCEED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR A HIGHER LEVEL POSITION.

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree, plus a minimum of 5 years of related technical experience.
• Advanced knowledge of related technical standards, techniques and criteria
• Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data 
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.
• Experience in Maximo and Passport would be beneficial.

THE EMPLOYEE MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Remain in a stationary position, walk, kneel and crouch.
• Operate computer on a continual basis and communicate with various levels of the organization.
