  • Responsibilities
    • Arrive on time, wearing proper, clean uniform and follow grooming standard.
    • Follow the assignment given by the supervisor
    • Attend daily lineups and on-going measured and tracked training classes
    • Follow food and beverage controls that are in place
    • Ensure steps of service and SOP’s are followed to 5-Star standards
    • Ensure all prep and garnish are consistent and to 5-star standard.
    • Follow opening and closing procedures as per standards
    • Responsible for maintaining both service areas and equipment in a clean and spotless manner.
    • Follow proper handling procedures for all perishable foods or beverages are followed to guarantee maximum sanitation and quality of the finished product.
    • Delivers food and drinks with the proper techniques and method as trained
    • Informs the Manager / Supervisor about guest complaints.
    • Solves minor operational problems
    • Constantly improves his/her knowledge of all food and beverage preparation, serving techniques and pronunciation
    • Checks food and beverage inventories and equipment (glassware / bar tools) inventories pertaining to his work area at inventory checks.
    • Maintains menus and beverage lists
    • Demonstrates strong menu knowledge through suggested selling and descriptions to managements satisfaction
    • Supplies for the area of reference are properly kept and accounted for, as well as used with proper care.
    • Performs any task deemed necessary by management for the efficient running of the property in general

    Required Skills

    • Pass general server knowledge test
    • Well organized with good written and verbal communications skills.
    • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people.
    • Strong communication skills, handling requests, complaints and inquiries on the phone.
    • Complies with conservative grooming standards as mentioned in our handbook
    • Creative and imaginative
    • Proactive problem solver
    • Second language, an asset

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 2 years server experience with luxury property or equivalent
    • Strong knowledge in wine and spirits
    • Working knowledge of Micros and Microsoft Office, preferred.
    • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people.
    • Able to multi task and establish priorities.
    • Proactive problem solver
