Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation/Transactional (Hybrid)
Ballard Spahr LLP has an opportunity for an experienced legal administrative assistant (legal secretary) with top-notch technical and administrative skills to work in our Las Vegas office. The selected individual will be responsible for working with our attorneys in Litigation, Real Estate and Business & Transactions departments. THIS POSITION IS HYBRID AND REQUIRES A WORK SCHEDULE OF 3 DAYS A WEEK IN THE OFFICE.

Qualified applicants will be highly motivated, detail-oriented possess strong communication, organizational, and client service skills and be able to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment. Top-notch accuracy, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills are necessary. The ability to multi-task and work co-operatively in a team environment to meet deadlines is required. A willingness to take innovative approaches to administrative support is a plus.
Required Experience
Ideal candidates for this position will have 2-3 years of relevant experience with a law firm, title company, mortgage company or other related entity. A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and a document management system strongly preferred. Experience with e-filing and Wiznet a plus. Familiarity with Nevada State, Federal and Appellate court rules, procedures and filing requirements desired. Top-notch accuracy and organizational skills; experience with time and billing and document management systems required.
